We converted a residual plot into15 exquisite homes.
We maximized the potential of a closed-block plot in a run-down area of the historic center of this small town in Alicante.
Hondón. Lifestyle. Part of the town lies on a hillside, offering views over a valley filled with vineyards and almond orchards. Its southern exposure ensures abundant sunlight. A calm environment where silence is only broken by natural sounds.
The Building. We started with an irregularly shaped plot, with two party walls and façades facing north and west. Despite these challenging conditions, our site analysis led us to a radical solution. We used the slope of the land to orient all the homes southwards, with sun and valley views, and placed a shared swimming pool area against the party wall.
The homes feature large covered terraces that regulate sunlight throughout the year—welcoming it in winter and blocking it in summer. Thanks to their size and exceptional design, these terraces are ideal spaces to enjoy the outdoors.
The building includes underground parking and storage rooms. The shared pool and solarium area is set one level above the street, ensuring optimal sunlight, privacy, wide-open views, and partial vistas of the valley.
South-facing homes with exceptional views of the valley, featuring outdoor living rooms to enjoy the mild climate.
The Homes. Each unit offers an open-plan living-dining-kitchen space with wood and porcelain finishes. Designed for year-round living, they include a laundry room and three bedrooms. The development provides all the conveniences of a new urban building, yet located in a peaceful rural setting.
