Costa Blanca bespoke villa

Environment.

The southern Costa Blanca is prized for its climate, natural spaces, and low population density. Most of the year is spent in spring or summer, while the cold season is limited to two months. Sunshine is enjoyed year-round, making it the area of ​​Spain with the most hours of sunlight. Specifically, this project places us in the southern part of the Southern Costa Blanca, between La Marina, Ciudad Quesada, and Benijófar, places where a large number of European citizens choose to live or spend time.

The building.

This home is located in a hillside development, with a plot with a slope of 8 meters. Taking advantage of this circumstance and after the initial analysis process, we placed the home at an intermediate level to develop the entire living area on a single floor with views of the Segura River valley and maximum privacy from the street.

The day area is organized to connect visually and physically with the terrace and outdoor garden spaces first, and then with the views. With a kitchen open to the living-dining room, and with this complex oriented longitudinally to the main terrace and the bedroom wing, an L-shaped enclosure, an arched portico forms an outdoor space with an infinity pool.

Access is below the pool, where the water flows to welcome visitors. A gently sloping walkway through the gardens leads to the main terrace and the access to the home.

Focusing on the garden space and the ascending route, the home is not fully realized until the last stretch. Upon arrival, one first contemplates the arched portico and the pool, before finally being faced with stunning views of the orchard.

Residents have direct access through the ground floor at street level, which serves as a garage, gym, and storage room. An interior elevator or exterior stairs are the direct access routes.
